Today, I woke up with a throbbing headache. Not my kind of morning, but all was better having my boyfriend next to me. That wasn't a usual thing for casey ruth nowadays. We knew we had a long day ahead of us so we started the day early. Grocery shopping it is. Picked up some dinner, snacks for the week and so on. And some cake supplies for the bday cake I planned to bake. I threw some stuff in the cart I thought he should be eatin. Then accidently picked up a 24 dollar brisket. One expensive thing out of them 40 items made purchased that morning at walmart. Lol.
Made it back and I started on the red velvet cake. he had a suprise that awaited me later. I was excited and bugged him all month asking "what is it!?" Before all of that we went to the mall and were already dressed for dinner so we were both dressed to impress. Overly dressed is what we looked like at the mall that night. We stopped by dillards, didn't find anything appealin besides the purses I craved for but was stopped the moment he saw the price tag. Onto the second store, Tiffany's...which we last walked in a couple years back in paseo, ca wearing nothing but rugged clothes. This time around I was sure I wasn't going to leave the store without a blue bag. I knew what I wanted and have been wanting it for a while now. I got myself a bracelet, that they placed in a little blue sac, into a blue box, tied with a silk bow around it and into the blue bag. I was excited and very happy to finally have one!
Soon after, he took me to my surprise.
A brazilian restaurant!
Yes, one of my most favorite foods in the world. Haha words can't describe! Just ask him about my reaction. I was a happy girl that night.all I can think of was churasco! My favorite brazilian bbq. Garlic that is. Mmm try it if you haven't! The first course was the salad bar. Each time I came back to my chair, someone would pull out the chair for me and hand me my napkin...and when he dropped his fork, someone immediately gave him a new fork! The food? Oh my, this was food porn. Nothing but ecstacy in my mouth. One interesting piece was the cinnamon pinapple, it complimented the churasco very much. Couldn't believe how much people seated aound us could eat so much churasco! I had 4 different meats and was stuffed! He was disappointed that he couldn't try all the churasco because he was too full, I felt the same way , haha. The service was excellent. And the money? well spent today.
Feelin weary around this time now,
I shyly sang happy birthday to my love at midnight. I reminded him of the night before his bday a couple years back. How we were just friends, we went to the movies and by the time the movie was over, it was 12 midnight, his 22nd birthday. We walked out the theater and I remember how bad I wanted to hug him! So much innocence. it all changed after that night. We were so into each other after all...:) I love him more than ever...
We had a long day ahead of us so we knocked out early...

it's oct. 11th, sunday
The day I leave to visit him.
I started the day with mom. We drove to the valley to go to church. After church, I had a really good conversation with my mother. She told me about her day off coming up in a few weeks and planned to do something for sure. She was excited I could tell frm the look on her face. Little did she know I was goin to leave her. Most know why I couldn't tell mom about this trip. But when we last talked about it, I did assure her and my father that I would go, no matter what. It came to the moment where I had to tell em I am " going out". I kissed mom goodbye, while she talked on the phone with a friend and before closing the front door I told my dad " bye" who is totally against saying "bye" for some reason, but I just said it. My bags were already in the trunk frm the night before. I arrived at the lax an hour early. With my lack of airport experience, I checked a bag unecessarily costing me $20. One odd moment at security, I had to take my sandals off, which was a pain because they were one of those gladiator ones with lots of straps. One awkward moment for me at the gate, me almost getting on a flight to honolulu, my flight was the next:/. Finally I got in, leaving la on a cold day, I had my coat I had bought for nyc the year before over my black california trendy maxi dress. The window seat is where I sat. I chose it of course. No need to go to the bathroom, for It was a three hour flight and I consumed half a bottle of water, with no 6 dollar airport snacks offered on the plane. One of my favorite movies Ice Age pt 2 played. I didn't get a headset so I just watched like a deaf person smilin and laughin. I sat next two an old couple. The husband sat next to me, he was asleep the whole time and had the head fallin asleep motion over and over again. That amused me as well. The attendants were super nice and super tall. I knew all those requirements for flight attendants because I've been researchin em for my sister had an interest in becoming one.
We landed about 5 minutes before scheduled time. Not much of a difference but totally on time. So I texted him and said "I jus landed" and he texted "jus arrived at the airport" lol. Yeah lots of excitement in us. I waited at the baggage claim behind a wall on purpose so that he doesn't find me easily! But he did. And he swept me off my feet and I gave him the biggest hug and kiss. Well it has been a two and a half months! I told him I was hungry and he just said " I knew you were going to be hungry!" He said he would make me some pizza when we got home. It was raining that night. Drizzling, wet, a bit cold but not freezing. I avoided puddles while I wore those california trendy sandals. Wrong time? We exchanged words of excitement and how much we missed each other in the car on the way home. A sense of relief i could see he had, I felt it as well. Finally reached the place and he made me some pizza like he said he would and it was yummy. We ate together in his room and talked about each others days and disbelief that I was there! My beverage, some water and of course jack daniels and coke...
