we got to see andrew bird in the beautiful hills of los angeles at the greek theater. It was my first time at the theater and it was a great experience. Im not used to going to "big" concerts, therefore i wasnt use to paying so much for drinks and food.

i got a weird vibe from this show. there wasnt a person standin, dancing, singin along...out of the 5700 present..nothing! killed my beer high. Not sure why. I havent inhaled in all that mary jane in the air in a while. Not a comforting feelin. andrew bird...with his rich voice, mellow, sweet melodies blocked all of that i put me in his music high. There was a haunting sound about his whistling echoing throughout the theater and it always seemed to end with the audience giggling about it. It was his birthday , the week before, so someone started singing happy birthday, leading everyone to sing "happy birthday " to andrew. His fans were well dressed. Almost seemed like a fashion show.
I liked that part too. Ra Ra Riots were interesting as well as the Heartless Bastards. Overall a good show for me and my sister on a beautiful summer nightin July...
