More Than a Song

So, rock bands, bands in general breakup. its a common thing. For example, great bands like the Beatles who broke up in 1970. John Lennon and George personal relationship had deteriorated and Lennon was the only one who wanted Yoko Ono around. Before the band broke up, they recorded Let It Be, which was released in 1970, the album only proved to been a "has been". Or Nsync who became all of a sudden..out of sync. Love is more than song! Im kinda just comparing a band to a relationship. It could be between family members, with your girlfriend or boyfriend. You start of thinking this person is perfect for you, they are exciting, they are outgoing and fun. You have same interests, thats why they started the band, that's how you took interest in starting a relationship. Then all of a sudden, it gets to that "rocky rockstar reality" phase. Personalities clash, irresponsibilities unravel. You learn this band, this person is not perfect. Then there is selfishness. It's how you handle the anger if it will end in a break up or in harmony. The most loving thing you can do is to get angry. It leads to harmony. The wrong way, leads to break up. You got to express your anger to move into real love.
How to get harmony through conflict in relationships? There is always this "boulder of blame", defenses go up, arguing about the same thing & not getting to the issue. You need to get to the "root of the cause". 1. hurt 2. insecurity 3. frustration. You need to ask yourself..."Am i hurt?" "Do i feel insecure?" "Am i frustrated?"...Yes, I am hurt, I am insecure and i am frustrated because of what you did. This is the correct way to approach conflict in a relationship. So do you attack or get to the root of the cause?
Live without resentment. Holding resentment will only hurt yourself. Basically you're saying, "Im not going to get healed until he/she changes". Some of us are waiting for that person to change. Its like saying, that one particular person shoots you in the arm while your walking down the street, then asking specifically for that person to heal you! You forgive. It takes time to build trust. Holding resentment is only weighing you down.
Selfishness, it really hurts the relationship. Answer: Serve. It's all about serving the other person. What about my feelings? You will be changed 100%. You need to love not expecting anything from it. Will my relationship be standing after the storm? And there will always be storms. Well it all depends on your foundation. You need peace in your heart to make a relationship work. Love is an action. Love is a choice. Love is more than a song. Love is more than a feeling.

what would it be without you?

this is the moment ive waited and worked so hard for, for about...a good three years you can say. it was suppose to be a shorter wait but life happened in its own way and i dont regret anything or wish anything better. God's timing is perfect. Makes no mistakes, everything happens for a reason and sorts itself out in the end.
I made this thing when i scheduled my exam, this 8 x 11 paper. I wrote down the date, time, location of my test, this was about a month and half before the actual date. I also wrote down names of my friends, family that have given me encouragement, a boost of confidence, hope, words of inspirations. names covered the whole paper & of course i signed the bottom "caseyruthleanoLVN" :p this paper has been posted up in my room the whole month and a half. I brought this paper to the exam place and realized i needed to throw every paper i was holding before going in to take it. so i had to tear it up and throw it away! Its ok, i gave it a good look several times for that confidence and inspiration. I did this for many people who mean the world to me( YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!) & of course i have a passion for nursing. ^___^ My grandma (r.i.p.) Also thank you to all my friends who have beared with me, taking the rejection of me saying, "I GOTTA STUDY, CAN'T GO OUT! " Im definitely going to do as much traveling as i can. Hear me EAST COAST? TEXAS ? BRAZIL? PHILLIPPINES? ill be over there shortly grandma.
I couldnt sleep for a whole hour after i found out. haha. i kept saying, "it must've been a mistake (lookin at the paper several times), wake me up!, its not real! "
My parents are super proud, they told me that we are going to party, i didnt even say anything...
I wont be loungin for too long. Job interviews await! **victory dance**
